Tomer Bar-Meir

Tomer Bar-Meir, CEO

Following the merger of Eshbal Functional Foods with the Bar-El Gluten-Free Bakery in 2016, in which Mr. Bar-Meir served in a number of positions, including CEO, he was appointed as VP Marketing for Eshbal. Two years later, he was appointed as C.E.O. Mr. Bar-Meir has over 12 years of experience in the Gluten-Free Food Industry. He is a graduate of Marketing and Financing from the Ben-Gurion University and holds an MBA from Ruppin Academic College

Saul Koder, VP Development & Quality

Mr. Saul Koder, MSc in Industrial Microbiology from the Hebrew University, and EMBA from Tel Aviv University, has served as VP Development & Quality at Eshbal Functional Foods since the beginning of 2014.

From 2011 till joining Eshbal, Mr. Koder served as VP Development at Eshbal Trade Ltd. Prior to this, Mr. Koder was the CEO and owner of Karmat Coating Industries (today, part of the F&C Licorice Group). From 1986 to 2004, he held several positions at Gadot Biochemical, including VP Business Development. Mr. Koder specializes in industrial-scale fermentations, scale-up from lab to industrial production, microencapsulation technologies and functional ingredients for fortification of food.
